One Hadith on Maintaining Ties of Kinship

‘Abdullah ibn ‘Amr reported that the Prophet (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) said, “The one who maintains ties of kinship is not the one who reciprocates (his kinsfolk’s good gestures) . The one who maintains ties of kinship is the one who, when his relatives cut him off, maintains ties of kinship.”
