Allah is the Most Merciful

Life is a series of tests. Literally. As soon as we get through one test, another one is coming for us. Time and time again these tribulations slam right at our faces without respite. At the end of the day, we are left in a daze, asking the only question that seems fit to be asked: ‘When will all this be over?’ And then we sit, waiting for the answer, hoping that relief will come soon. Don’t worry. Allah promises us that with every difficulty there is relief. We must never lose hope that our situation will improve. Say: “My servants, you who have transgressed against yourselves, do not despair of the mercy of Allah. Truly Allah forgives all wrong actions. He is the Ever-Forgiving, the Most Merciful.” Quran 39:53 The help of Allah is near to those who believe.

Quran 39:53

The help of Allah is near to those who believe.
Changing to be a better person? A better Muslim?
Take it slowly. Good things take time.
Whatever the tests given, whatever your condition is, regardless how painful the hurt  is right now, put your trust in Allah, as He knows best.
After we feel we have been blessed with patience in affliction, we should aspire to reach a higher level; which is that of gratitude. Gratitude that Allah wants us to be purified from our sins, gratitude that Allah gives us the promise of something better than that we were afflicted with. Only then will we reach a state of contentment and serenity.

Trust Him.
The hand that reaches out to you in darkness is a reflection of Allah’s Mercy;  so too are the kind words from a stranger, the rain that falls on the parched earth, and the laughter in the eyes of a child.  His Mercy is the source of all that is Good and Gentle.
Know your God: Allah is the Most Merciful.
